Constantine, “city of bridges”, is a dramatic city of precipitous cliffs and deep gorges, the lofty setting for Algeria’s most labyrinthine casbah. Constantine boasts an excellent museum as well as the delightful Palace of Ahmed Bey and a handful of undiscovered mosques.
